Terms

Terms of Service

Effective May 1, 2026. This product policy draft should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production enterprise use.

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern access to Apforj, an AI-assisted mobile app builder and related preview, backend, build, publishing, billing, and developer tools. By creating an account, using Apforj, accepting these Terms, or buying credits or a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions by team members, API keys, publishing credentials, and connected third-party accounts. We may suspend access for security risk, nonpayment, abuse, or legal compliance.

3. Service

Apforj helps users generate, edit, preview, build, and publish mobile applications using AI, templates, managed infrastructure, and integrations. Features may include generated source code, managed backend services, runtime logs, database and storage, app store publishing assistance, signing, exports, public share links, and build tools.

4. Credits, Billing, and Subscriptions

Credits may be consumed for AI generation, planning, previews, builds, publishing tasks, storage, bandwidth, model usage, or other metered activity. Credits are not cash, may be subject to expiry or plan limits, and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before renewal. You are responsible for taxes, app store fees, third-party fees, cloud overages, and chargebacks caused by your account.

5. User Content and Generated Output

User Content includes prompts, uploaded files, designs, assets, credentials, app data, project configuration, instructions, and other materials you submit. You retain ownership of your User Content. Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, you own app code and app assets generated specifically for your project, excluding Apforj platform code, templates, models, SDKs, libraries, infrastructure, and pre-existing materials. You grant Apforj the license needed to host, process, transmit, display, modify, and generate outputs from User Content to provide the service.

6. AI Limitations

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, insecure, incomplete, noncompliant, or unsuitable for production without review. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and legally clearing any app before release. Apforj does not guarantee that generated code is free of bugs, vulnerabilities, intellectual-property issues, accessibility issues, privacy issues, or app store rejection risk.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for your apps, app content, app privacy notices, end-user consent, production monitoring, third-party integrations, legal compliance, support, and developer accounts. You must not use Apforj to build apps for illegal, harmful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, surveillance, credential theft, malware, regulated high-risk, or safety-critical uses without explicit written approval.

8. Managed Backend and Runtime Data

If Apforj hosts backend services for your app, you remain responsible for the data your app collects from end users. Apforj may process runtime data, logs, authentication data, database records, uploaded files, request metadata, and infrastructure metadata to operate the app. Backend services may be subject to storage, bandwidth, request, database, function, user, and retention limits.

9. Publishing Credentials and App Stores

You may connect Apple, Google, signing, build, payment, analytics, or third-party credentials. You authorize Apforj to use those credentials only to perform requested publishing, build, signing, deployment, or integration actions. You are responsible for app store account standing, app review compliance, metadata, screenshots, age ratings, privacy labels, fees, and rejection handling. Apforj does not guarantee app store approval.

10. Acceptable Use

You may not use Apforj for malware, phishing, spam, credential harvesting, scraping abuse, unlawful surveillance, intellectual-property infringement, child exploitation, harassment, hate, fraud, deceptive impersonation, unauthorized security probing, or attempts to bypass credit, billing, rate-limit, or platform controls. You may not upload secrets or third-party data unless you are authorized to do so.

11. Third-Party Services

Apforj may rely on AI providers, payment processors, hosting providers, databases, app stores, analytics, monitoring, code repositories, and integration partners. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and Apforj is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, fees, or rejected submissions.

12. Security, Export, and Deletion

Apforj uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure. You should promptly report suspected vulnerabilities or unauthorized access. Account deletion may remove projects, hosted app data, logs, builds, and credentials after a retention period, but may not immediately remove backups, audit logs, legal records, app store records, third-party records, or exported copies.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, abuse, legal obligation, or violation of these Terms. You may cancel at any time, but cancellation does not automatically refund prior charges unless required by law.

14. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided as is and as available. Apforj does not guarantee uninterrupted service, app store approval, production suitability, legal compliance, security perfection, revenue, rankings, or business outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, Apforj is not liable for indirect, consequential, lost profit, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption damages.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms with notice. Material changes apply prospectively unless required for security, legal compliance, or service integrity.
